The Growing Home holds a potluck and lecture that is open to everyone on the 1st  Thursday of every month.  We encourage anyone and everyone to come out to these potlucks and enjoy good food and good company.

Please bring a dish that will feed one to two more people than are in your party.

Lecture

This month we are very happy to welcome David Rosenstein of EVOFarm as our guest speaker.  EVOFarm at the forefront of urban agriculture, and is one of the only aquaponic farms in Los Angeles.  Aquaponics is a system which creates a symbiotic relationship between plants and fish to grow more food with less space & water.  David will explain the basics of how aquaponics systems function, and show how EVOFarm is leveraging this technology to be at the forefront of urban agriculture.
