Pitching Night for Praxis’ Labs’ Accelerator Program

Praxis was created to support social entrepreneurs who are compelled by their faith to advance the common good. The vision for the organization was formed out of a passion to assist in the development of high-impact organizations, while providing an environment that allows the leaders of these organizations to explore how to embody the Gospel within their work. Their first and primary offering is the Praxis Accelerator, a mentorship-driven program for these social entrepreneurs & innovators. Within this program, their goal is to provide selected Fellows with the knowledge and network needed to develop world-class organizations.

GATHERING THREE:PREPARING FOR GROWTH

The program culminates at and around the Q Gathering, where Fellows pitch their organizations to church and cultural leaders in an evening event with a chance at a share of $100,000 in cash awards. A $50k, $30k, and $20k grant will be handed out to the top nonprofits in the program. Mentorship will again happen throughout, focusing on preparing for growth both personally and professionally, with pointed discussions around how to create a thriving, enduring, and effective organization. Fellows leave with a management dashboard and a cohort of social entrepreneurs to support them in accomplishing their goals, via the Praxis alumni network.
