ABOUT THIS CLASS

This class will take place at our Downtown LA location.

Thinking of learning to code, but getting lost in the alphabet soup (AJAX, PHP, CSS, etc)? Whether you’re interested in building your own web sites and applications, or looking to change careers, our class will introduce you to the world of web development (and programming in general).

We’ll take a dive into specific programming languages, tools and real life examples. We’ll also discuss what you need to get started as a web developer, as well as how you can break into this dynamic field.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Ethan Stiffelman
Ethan Stiffelman was born and currently lives in Los Angeles California, he is always practicing all things “tech” from front end web development with HTML and CSS, to back end systems architecture and databases. On the back-end he prefers to work with Rails Framework, Ruby Language, PostrgeSQL, and MongoDB. For the front end, he prefers Bootstrap, jQuery, and Foundation. Before his career in development, he was a chef at Melisse Restaurant in Santa Monica where he worked for two years. When he’s not working with computers, his hands will be dirty building aftermarket engines, and racing anything with a motor.
