Toastmasters is an organization that helps people develop their public speaking skills, and this club is focused on helping Greens and other environmentally and socially conscience folks get our message out, whether its at a rally, press conference, or just amongst your coworkers or family. After each meeting we spend some time talking about Outreach and Education - using our skills to inform and shape policy. We meet the third Thursday each month at Sierra Club HQ, 3435 Wilshire Blvd Suite 320, 7-8 PM. First Thursdays we meet at 9743 Noble Ave. in North Hills, the regular meeting spot of the San Fernando Valley Greens. Sierra Club HQ is only a block from the Normandie Red Line station, so if you can please take public transportation. If you do end up driving, underground parking is free, as is the event - enter from Mariposa.
