Cleantech Startups Fear No More, LA Cleantech Incubator is Here!

Starting a business isn’t easy. There are very few entrepreneurs, if any, who succeed alone. That’s where a business incubator can help. Did you know that in 2005 alone, according to NBIA estimates, North American incubators assisted over 27,000 start-ups, who hire over 100,000 full-time employees, and generate annual revenue of over $17 billion?

This number has surely risen since then, and is likely to continue rising for sometime; largely due to the clear social and economical benefits of successful niche incubators in local communities. We’re excited to welcome the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, located in the heart of the Cleantech Corridor and the Downtown Arts District.

Here’s some info on their Office Warming on July 28th.

The Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator is a non-profit entity launched by the Community Redevelopment Agency and the Department of Water and Power for the city of Los Angeles. LACI offers eligible start-ups flexible office space, coaching and mentoring, commercialization help, networking opportunities and financing.

As a community, we’re excited to see the various businesses and products that sprout up from this incubator. Personally, I want to see a gym where the members are unknowingly generating power for the entire facility.
