The Unreasonable Institute will unite 25 exceptional, young entrepreneurs for 6 weeks in the summer of 2011 in the beautiful, entrepreneurial city of Boulder, Colorado (ranked as 2008′s most intelligent city in the United States by Forbes). During that time, they’ll live and work with 60 world-class mentors, pitch their ventures to hundreds of investors in San Francisco and Boulder, obtain legal advice and design consulting, form relationships with up to 30 impact investment funds, and prepare to launch financially self-sustaining, globally scalable ventures that can serve the needs of at least one million people.

WeCreate focuses on building individual leaders that can create collective innovation and social transformation. We have developed and produced a pioneering peer-to-peer leadership and innovation coaching toolkit to give social innovators access to world-class coaching. We train, inspire and advise social innovators in national and local government and within leading global NGOs. We train community-level social entrepreneurs with the innovation and leadership tools used by Fortune 500 executives. We are developing a scaleable ‘employment through empowerment’ training program to support the most disadvantaged - homeless, street youth, former prisoners - to solve their own financial and fulfillment challenges by becoming micro social entrepreneurs solving their community’s problems. |
